Growing up in the foster care system until age seven taught me invaluable lessons about trust and support. I learned early that not everyone has your best interest at heart, and the sting of broken promises made me vow never to make promises I couldn’t keep. My life changed when Mildred, an elderly woman, took me in and showed me unconditional love, teaching me the importance of how we treat others. Her kindness made me believe in myself and understand the value of making others feel seen, worthy, and loved. My name is Tim Kelly, and I’m running for the New York State Assembly to continue making Onondaga County a great place to live. We are fortunate to have strong neighborhoods, excellent schools, and a stable community, and I’m committed to preserving and improving these qualities.
As Chair of the Town of Manlius Zoning Board, I learned that real progress happens when people work together for the common good. I’m not interested in partisan fighting—I’m focused on delivering results for New Yorkers. In Albany, I’ll work to put more money in your paychecks, keep our state safe, and protect the environment for future generations.
